It can t just be warm it has to be hot to the touch. This is the same product that is used to forcefully spray the dust out of computer components. A gleaming new stainless steel refrigerator adds buyer appeal to any kitchen but even a single dent can significantly reduce its wow factor in much the same way that a dent can mar the finish on a new car. Use a heat gun or a very strong blow dryer to blow hot air on the surface where the dent is until it s very hot.

To remove a dent from a stainless steel refrigerator with heat and cold use a hair dryer or a heat gun to blow hot air directly onto the dent. Apply this hand tool to the affected area and try to suck the dent out. The heat will make the metal expand and it may pop back smooth once you let it cool. Alternatively try making the dent contract by holding dry ice to it to cool it rapidly.

Find a place that carries dry ice. If the heating cooling method doesn t remove the dent try using an auto body dent puller. The stainless steel will contract and the dent will flex back into its original shape. Use a combination of pushing pulling heat and or cold.

The dent should pop out. After heating the dented area turn the can of air duster upside down and spray the dent. Neither method may work for some small dents near the edges or inside contoured features. Nicks and dents in stainless steel appliances can be resolved by using a plunger.
